The Västervik Museum

The Västervik Museum at Kulbacken has all the features of a municipal museum. Its collections are professionally curated and managed, and present a broad spectrum of the history of Västervik and its surroundings. Seafaring has pride of place in the Museum, with extensive displays of models, paintings, photographs and objects. A model of the so-called ìLarge Yardî (Stora varvet) is a principal exhibit in the Seafaring Gallery.
